Pixel art exercice I - medieval plate armor

A few exercises from which I've learned a lot about pixel art.

A Churburg style armour from the XIVth century.
For this one I took a more gameish/cartoonish aproach and I am quite pleased with the result.

One nice german sallet dated somewhere around 1470.
With this one I took what I have learned for my previous attempts and made a helmet that looks realistic and pleasing as pixel-art

Houndskull helmet from 1380-1400.
This is the first pixel-art piece that I made, It has lots of soft transitions between colors witch I found to be not so important for pixel-art. However the result is quite interesting, as it has a more realistic look.
